Age Concern Hampshire are currently recruiting for Relief Minibus Drivers to join our friendly and dedicated team at our Care & Wellbeing Centre in Yateley.

Responsibilities

  • Driving Service Users from their homes to the Care and Wellbeing Centre in the morning and return them safely in the afternoon
  • Assisting Service Users to enter and vacate the minibus, ensuring their safety and physical needs are fully met.
  • To help ensure the minibus is maintained through completion of daily checks, refuelling, vehicle cleanliness and reporting of maintenance and repair issues to the manager

Requirements:

  • Experience of driving a minibus and assisting passengers
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An understanding of the importance of being reliable, hardworking and honest
  • A D1 on your license is essential
  • A Midas qualification or willingness to undertake Midas training
