Summary

In the role of Client Acquisition and Charity Development Coordinator you will be responsible for increasing client occupancy across our Care and Wellbeing Centres by building strong community relationships, coordinating marketing and outreach activities, enhancing centre services, and supporting managers with performance insights. The role ensures our services are visible, accessible, and aligned with community needs.

This role is 20 hours per week and will require some travel to our wellbeing centres across Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Drive new client enquiries and referrals by building strong connections with community groups, health professionals, charities, and local organisations.

  • Attend community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to showcase services and raise awareness.

  • Organise open days and promotional events to encourage potential clients and families to visit centres.

  • Support the development of new initiatives and events—such as dementia cafés and Cognitive Stimulation Therapy sessions—to increase engagement and occupancy.

Marketing & Communications

  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure accurate and engaging content is displayed on the organisation\’s website and promotional materials.

  • Suggest and support website improvements, including adding links to relevant external organisations and resources.

  • Coordinate in-house marketing efforts with other departments to maintain consistent messaging across the organisation.

  • Use Google Analytics to monitor website activity and identify opportunities to improve visibility and reach.

Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners to explore opportunities for collaborative working and shared community aims.

  • Act as a central link between centres, external organisations, and internal departments to support integrated service delivery.

Service Development

  • Work with centre teams to introduce and support ongoing activities that enhance the client experience and respond to community needs.

  • Provide insight and feedback on trends, opportunities, and areas for service improvement.

Performance Monitoring

  • Produce and share weekly performance updates with day centre managers, focusing on occupancy, trends, and progress against targets.

  • Collate, analyse, and report key performance figures to senior management to support informed decision making and track progress against targets.

  • Highlight areas for improvement and recommend actions to support centre growth.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Confident networker with experience speaking to community groups or external partners.

  • Experience in business development, community engagement, sales, or similar roles (charity/healthcare experience desirable).

  • Good organisational and event-planning skills.

  • Ability to analyse data and draw insights (experience with Google Analytics is beneficial but not essential).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
