We are looking for volunteers (x2) to join our Help at Home Service in Basingstoke and Locks Heath in order to support the service coordinators. You will be supporting with a range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Responding to client enquiries over the phone and sometimes by email
- Logging enquiries on our Charity Log (client management) system
- Carrying out client service review calls
Therefore, good IT skills would be helpful. Training is provided. Other tasks may include:
- Distributing posters in the local community to promote the Help at Home Service
- Sending out emails to wider networks
- Attending events with the coordinator
The hours for these roles are flexible but would ideally be within the hours of 9am-3pm on the following days: Mon/Tues/Weds for Basingstoke and Weds/Thurs/Fri for Locks Heath. You will be required to undertake induction training/update training/reading of policies. A DBS check will also be required.
Skills:
- An excellent communicator, both in writing and orally (over the phone)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Car driver and use of own vehicle (mileage will be paid at 45p a mile)
- Good IT skills – email; using the internet; Microsoft Office (Word; Excel)
- Understanding
