Overview
The role of Sales Support Specialist is to provide industry leading levels of training and support on all current Massey Ferguson products to the dealer network and end users. The position reports to the Sales Support Manager. Your Impact:
Responsibilities
- Provide whole goods product training and updates to internal staff, dealers and end users. Provide professional support at company and dealer events, including launches, shows, open days and demonstrations. Provide professional demonstrations to the public and individual end users.
- Liaise with other departments including sales engineering, product development, product management, training, service and FUSE to ensure that Massey Ferguson products receive industry leading levels of support. Provide face to face and remote support to dealers and end users to address operational queries where necessary and offer advice where appropriate. Work closely with the Area Sales Managers to ensure that sales and customer satisfaction are maximized.
- Work closely with the other Sales Support Specialists to ensure best use of resources and provide additional support when required. Work closely with the AGCO Fuse team, Massey Ferguson Sales Support Manager and National Sales Manager to improve the take rate of MF Technology products from the factory.
- Provide support to the press when required. Maintain a high level of knowledge of current Massey Ferguson products and their application.
- Gather market intelligence and help develop product strategies to improve the factory take rate of MF Technology products. Build strong sales argumentation and develop a route to market to ensure all MF internal sales staff are fully up to speed with product developments. You will work hybrid/remote mode from our Stoneleigh, Warwickshire site.
Qualifications
- Minimum level of Education required: Bachelor\’s Degree
- 2-5 years of Business Experience required
- Thorough knowledge of UK agriculture and the application and use of farm machinery
- Proficiency in the use of modern agricultural machinery with a full understanding of customer expectations. Must be able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
- Must hold a current full UK driving licence. Current tractor licence and handler licence would be an advantage.
