Your Role

As EME Legal Counsel you will be a highly experienced legal professional who will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a wide variety of commercial and corporate matters raised by internal stakeholders across the AGCO business. The role sits within a small team of UK lawyers and is part of a wider legal department based across Europe.

Your Impact

  • You have a high level of confidence in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements and can manage a broad mix of legal queries and issues that arise from all departments within AGCO.
  • You have experience in corporate governance matters, with experience in M&A transactions, preparing board meetings, shareholder meetings and regulatory filings.
  • You have a track record supporting business clients in key decisions, with a timely, outcomes-focused approach while ensuring legal and commercial risks are clearly communicated.
  • You have experience in supporting junior lawyers.
  • You are committed to sharing best practices and process improvements to deliver efficiencies, particularly in the development of the legal team’s AI capabilities.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Min. 5 years PQE.
  • Strong team player and organizational and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while remaining analytical and detail-orientated.
  • Good legal analysis and communication skills.
