As Digital PO at A-Gas, you will get the opportunity to become the voice of our customers and guide business needs and priorities, prioritise and manage the product backlog, and incorporate feedback from business stakeholders to guide continuous product improvement.
Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
- Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface prioritised needs.
- Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes.
- Act as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritisation of the product backlog.
- Prioritise product requirements and own the product backlog.
- Coordinate trials and product launches and support communications and training.
- Anticipate changes in customer/user needs; adapt products and create product retirement and transition plans.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements, and team retrospectives; ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps.
- Analyse feedback from sprint reviews and other data such as end-user feedback and operational metrics to identify and understand product needs.
- Research suppliers and markets, and maintain a broad understanding of the sector and wider IT and digital developments.
- Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent and Project Management training like Scrum, Prince2, or Six Sigma (Green belt).
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and service-oriented design.
- Experienced in strategic planning, developing technical and business product roadmaps, and demonstrable competence in a product-based environment.
- Capability to foster strategic relations both internal and external, and to manage large-scale multi-phase implementation, e.g. either systems projects or international development projects or business development or business transformation projects.
