Elixir Engineer – Remote (must be willing to work UK hours)
Tech: Elixir, Phoenix, Liveview
Duration: 6 month contract with a view to extending.

A UK based SaaS organisation is hiring an Elixir Engineer on a contract basis.
You will work on a B2B basis so you will need your own limited company.
They are in the process of migrating from Elixir to Typescript, so your role will be maintaining the existing Elixir application.
The focus is on improving reliability, fixing bugs, and supporting integration with newer systems being built in other technologies.
The project involves ensuring smooth interoperability between Elixir services and newer TypeScript-based systems, with a plan to decommission the existing Elixir app by mid to late next year.
You\'re experience:
- Strong commercial experience with Elixir, Phoenix, and LiveView
- Background working on event-driven systems or distributed architectures
- Experience in startups or SME environments
- Comfortable maintaining and improving legacy systems while supporting transition projects
- Collaborative, communicative, and proactive
