Remote UK with quarterly meetups. Are you a Senior Quality Engineer who is a technical engineer who can write automated tests, ask questions, poke and prod and drive change & efficiency? Do you want autonomy, working in a continuous delivery environment in a team that ships changes to production 100+ times per month?

The Tech: C#, .NET, Playwright. They have some tests written mainly in JavaScript and Cypress (End to End) that they want to migrate to C# and .NET.

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (stretching to £95,000 for exceptional candidates) + 25 days holiday + an additional day for your birthday, healthcare, 5% contributory pension and more.

The Projects:

  • You’ll help identify reusable, scalable quality engineering approaches to support expansion into international markets.
  • They have high unit test coverage but anything above that is sparse. You will help integrate with 3rd party services and how they integrate their Blazor application with another internal application.
  • When developers run the Blazor app locally, it doesn’t look as it should in the main application, so you will help fix this.
  • Improve efficiency across a variety of testing, including API testing, Load/Stress testing, Integration Testing, Unit Testing, Accessibility Testing and Security Testing.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams including frontend, backend engineers, Product Managers and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with C# and .NET is essential. Ideally, you will have experience with JavaScript. You will understand that quality isn’t just that tests are green = everything is fine. You’ll understand requirements gathering, design it right in the first place, make sure tests are spread out across multiple layers, not just testing everything right at the end. You’ll be an enabler of teams to own quality.
