HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity
A&G Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established pallet network operator based in Reading for an experienced HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for regular weekday work with no weekend or bank holiday commitments.
The Role
- Delivering palletised goods to private customer premises and local businesses
- Multi-drop deliveries within the local area
- Completing two delivery runs per day
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and professionally
- Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday only
- No weekends
- No Bank Holidays
- 8:00am start time
- 10 hours guaranteed per shift
- Pay Rates
Temporary Period
- £17.00 per hour plus holiday pay
- £19.00 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Permanent Position
- 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Bank Holidays paid
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous multi-drop experience
- Pallet network experience is essential
- Good customer service skills and a professional attitude
