A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting experienced ADR HGV Class 2 drivers for our busy client based in Reading. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity, Monday to Friday with no weekend work!
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience with no more than 6 points
- Basic ADR training/card required (for transporting goods safely, including hazardous materials)
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Professional, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude
Job Details:
- Type of Work: Multi-drop pallet deliveries to a variety of customers
- Locations: Local and regional deliveries from Reading hub
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 18:00 (1-hour break)
- Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours/day
- Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter for any hours over 10
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload goods
- Deliver pallets accurately and on time
- Handle paperwork and delivery documentation
- Maintain vehicle in good working order and report any issues
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting Rate: £16.50/hr holiday entitlement
- Permanent Rate: £17.50/hr holiday entitlement
- Overtime: £20.60-£21.25 after 10 hours/day
