A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Factory Operative for our client based just outside Reading.
This is a varied role supporting the production and manufacturing of a range of high-quality products used across different sectors and industries.
Experience using power tools is essential for this position.
Own transport is essential due to the location.
Factory Operative – Temp to Perm (for the right candidate)
Location: Outskirts of Reading
Pay: £13.00/hour (increase after successful 3-month probation)
Overtime: £19.50/hour
Start: Immediate
Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
- Friday: 08:00–15:30
Main Duties:
- Assist with daily manufacturing and production operations
- Work with a variety of materials and products
- Confidently use power tools and equipment
- Operate and maintain machinery (full training provided where required)
- Cut, assemble and handle products and materials
- Manage stock and incoming materials
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience using power tools is essential
- Experience within a manufacturing, factory, production, construction, carpentry or similar environment
- Good attention to detail
- Experience operating machinery would be advantageous
- Reliable, hands-on and willing to learn
- Must have own transport due to the location
