Location: AG Paving and Building Products Ltd, 127 Creevehill Road, Fivemiletown
Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm (4‑day work week with rotational day off; 5th day optional overtime).
We're on the lookout for a Skilled Machine Operator to help keep our production line running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. If you know your way around machines, this might be your perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate and maintain production machinery.
- Ensure high‑quality output and smooth running processes.
- Troubleshoot issues to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Keep the shop floor clean, safe and efficient.
- Take personal responsibility for safety and training to become a flexible operative across a range of workstations.
- Become proficient in all aspects of operations using the Learn management system to drive continuous improvement.
- Support maintenance tasks during machine downtime, planned and routine maintenance.
- Respond quickly to conditions that adversely impact operations and resolve issues.
- Comply with AG HSEQ policies & procedures, conduct HSEQ checks and report improvements via Engage Software.
- Maintain product quality standards and keep supporting records.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the role.
- Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job.
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate.
- Adherence to H&S litigation and housekeeping standards.
- Reliable, works well on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet production deadlines.
- Effective communication with team members.
- Ability to travel to and from work areas as required.
- Availability to respond to production problems outside normal hours.
- Preferred: experience in concrete products manufacturing.
- Preferred: experience in quality control.
- Preferred: at least 1 year forklift experience.
- Preferred: experience in routine and preventative maintenance programmes.
- 4‑day working week or overtime on the 5th day.
