The Real Estate Division is one of Addleshaw Goddard's largest. The Real Estate Disputes team (known internally as the RED team) is one of the largest and strongest in the UK, comprising 24 lawyers (including 5 Partners), plus paralegals and trainees. The RED team has vast experience in acting on a range of high value, high profile and complex litigation cases, particularly in relation to institutional clients and occupiers with extensive property portfolios.
You can expect to work on a variety of property disputes (predominantly commercial property) including landlord and tenant, development, telecoms etc at all levels of the Court System. Responsibilities will include dealing with (and in many cases supervising/being client facing for) a full range of landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals (contested and uncontested), dilapidation claims, service of break notices, forfeiture and possession actions.
