AG Hotels Group currently has a portfolio of 21 hotels and is rapidly increasing its national footprint. We are looking for a Hotel Maintenance Operative to be a part of our central team, responsible for carrying out general maintenance works at our hotels in London. Our preferred candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, capable of reviewing situations and proposing solutions, working efficiently, and prioritising their own workload.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- General repair and maintenance work throughout the properties.
- Ensure all maintenance activities and failures are responded to efficiently and effectively.
- Carry out any reasonable emergency tasks requested by hotel management.
- Undertake any other type of maintenance work in connection with the functioning of the hotel premises as required.
- Liaise with external contractors regarding small reactive projects.
- Ensure plant room is kept in good order and free from defects.
- Be involved in Pro-Active Periodic Maintenance (PPM) across the property.
- The above list is not exhaustive, and this job description may reasonably be adjusted by the Line Manager/Supervisor within the scope of the work.
- Knowledge in general maintenance & repairs including plumbing/electrical repairs, decorating, carpentry, and joinery.
- Specialist knowledge or certification in any of the above trades would be preferred.
- Knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations.
- A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- A flexible approach to working and committed to delivering high levels of service.
- A positive and helpful attitude to work and colleagues.
- A willingness to learn and adapt.
