AGHotels Group is seeking a seasoned and highly organised professional to join our team as Duty Manager at our newly acquired Beacon Hotel in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the hotel, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  • Lead and motivate the reception team to deliver outstanding service and uphold our standards.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy and take on few reception shifts as per the business needs.
  • Resolve guest issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Efficiently manage staff schedules to meet operational demands.
  • Conduct training sessions for the reception team, emphasizing service excellence and brand standards.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and address challenges promptly.
  • Uphold high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Help in other departments when required.

Qualifications Required

  • Experience in a reception or front-of-house management role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, Rezlynx or similar).
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is required for this role.
