We are looking for a talented SAP Solutions Architect, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC). You will be responsible for designing and delivering integrated SAP solutions tailored to the needs of clients in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction sector. You will act as a strategic advisor, working closely with senior stakeholders, project managers, and delivery teams to ensure robust, scalable, and industry-aligned SAP architectures.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solution architecture within an EPC services environment including S/4HANA, EPPM, PS, MM, SD, and associated modules.
  • Design end-to-end SAP solutions covering project systems, procurement, subcontracting, billing, and financial integration for EPC clients.
  • Conduct client workshops to gather business and functional requirements and translate them into effective SAP architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables aligned with EPC best practices.
  • Ensure alignment with industry regulations and project accounting standards (e.g., WBS, milestone billing, contract management).
  • Support pre-sales and business development activities including RFP responses, solution design, and client presentations.
  • Provide quality assurance across the solution lifecycle—from blueprint through to post go-live support.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants and contribute to internal EPC capability development.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of SAP experience, including at least 10 years in a Solution Architect role.
  • Proven expertise in delivering SAP solutions for Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) industry clients.
  • Deep understanding of SAP Project System (PS), S/4HANA, EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management), and integration with MM, SD, and FICO.
  • Strong experience with WBS structures, project planning, procurement (including subcontracting), project billing, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Experience delivering complex, multi-phase SAP projects within EPC or similar project-centric industries.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • SAP certifications in Project Systems, EPPM, or S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM) or Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
  • Familiarity with Primavera or other project planning tools integration.
  • Understanding of contract lifecycle management and risk controls in EPC projects.
  • Prior experience in large consulting or systems integrator firms.
