Position
We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Principal Consultant to lead and support a Greenfield S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of SAP PM processes, hands-on configuration skills, and strong business consulting experience. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and work closely with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP PM module in an S/4HANA Greenfield environment.
- • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into effective SAP PM solutions.
- • Configure SAP PM module, including functional specs for enhancements and interfaces.
- • Integrate PM processes with other SAP modules (MM, PP, QM, EAM, etc.).
- • Develop and deliver workshops, demos, and training sessions for key users and business leads.
- • Work with technical teams to support development of custom objects, data migration, and integrations.
- • Support testing, cutover planning, and Hypercare activities.
- • Provide strategic input into system architecture and process optimization aligned with industry best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience with SAP PM, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
- • Proven experience with S/4HANA Greenfield implementations.
- • Strong functional knowledge of Plant Maintenance processes, including notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment management.
- • Familiar with Fiori apps, SAP Activate methodology, and S/4HANA simplifications.
- • Ability to map business requirements to system functionality with a focus on usability and scalability.
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- • Ability to lead workshops and present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in asset-intensive industries (e.g., utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing).
- Exposure to integration with mobile maintenance solutions, IoT, or predictive maintenance.
- Familiarity with EAM or Linear Asset Management.
Preferences:
- Experience in Oil & Gas
- Automobile
- Exposure to Winshuttle / Prometheus / RPA
- Experience in SAP PS (Project system)
