Overview
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Practice Lead to drive AG’s Digital Supply Chain capability across the UK and Europe. This role combines deep functional expertise with leadership, pre-sales ownership, delivery governance and practice growth responsibility.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic & Practice Leadership
- Define and execute AG’s Digital Supply Chain roadmap aligned to S/4HANA and Cloud-first strategy
- Own practice revenue targets and contribute to overall UK P&L
- Build and mentor a high-performing onshore/offshore SCM team
- Develop reusable accelerators and industry templates
- S/4HANA Transformation Leadership
- Lead end-to-end S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield and Selective Data Transition programmes
- Oversee integration across MM, OTC, PP, EWM, QM, SD, IBP, Ariba, PM and FI
- Drive supply chain digitisation including embedded analytics, automation and AI-enabled planning
- Pre-Sales & Market Positioning
- Lead RFP responses and solution design workshops
- Act as executive sponsor on strategic bids
- Partner with SAP UK and ecosystem partners
- Contribute to thought leadership, webinars and client roundtables
- Delivery & Governance
- Provide executive oversight on key programmes
- Ensure margin protection and risk mitigation
- Drive quality standards aligned to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
- Establish structured offshore collaboration models
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies
- Leverage SAP IBP, aATP, BTP extensions, AI use cases
- Embed sustainability and ESG considerations in supply chain design
- Promote automation and analytics-led optimisation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, including reporting, monitoring, and corrective actions
Qualification
- Minimum of 12+ years SAP Supply Chain experience with minimum 3 S/4HANA full-cycle transformations
- Experience in Public Cloud and Private Cloud
- Strong exposure to: MMSD, Embedded EWM, PP, Fiori & UX
- Proven pre-sales and revenue contribution
- Experience managing distributed teams
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience with SAP industry solutions (e.g., Energy, utilities, manufacturing)
- SAP or enterprise technology certifications are a plus
