Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Ecommerce Manager located in Derby. The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company\’s online sales and presence, developing and implementing ecommerce strategies, analyzing data to improve sales performance, and coordinating with the marketing team to enhance the online shopping experience for customers. Additionally, the Ecommerce Manager will handle customer queries and manage inventory for the online store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our WooCommerce website, ensuring it runs smoothly, is user-friendly, and meets business needs.
- Update product listings, process online orders, and troubleshoot website issues as they arise.
- Optimise the website for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive traffic.
- Create engaging adverts and graphics using tools like Canva for social media, website promotions, and paid ad campaigns.
- Develop and manage advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads to boost brand awareness and sales.
- Monitor ad performance, adjust strategies, and optimize budgets for maximum ROI.
- Handle tasks related to website performance, optimization, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to online customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of service.
- Occasionally assist with in-person customer service during busy periods, though the primary focus will be on digital tasks.
Requirements:
- Degree in marketing or other related subjects is favourable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ solid experience managing and maintaining websites, with specific expertise in WooCommerce.
- Proven experience creating and managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns.
- Proficiency with design tools like Canva for creating adverts and promotional materials.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience improving website rankings.
- Familiarity with social media advertising, content creation, and paid ad platforms.
- Building trade experience is not essential but preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various digital and customer-facing tasks.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-site only
