As a Business Development Representative you will sit within the National Field Sales Team, supporting our Symbols & Independents (S&I) business. Your focus will be on driving AG Barr core brand distribution and visibility within impulse outlets across a defined territory to achieve model store status. You will maximise brand visibility through point‑of‑sale placement, support energy portal distribution, and contribute to overall market share growth for the portfolio of stores in your route to market.
Responsibilities
- Drive distribution of AG Barr Focus lines and ensure specific stores stock must‑stock items while showcasing new product development.
- Embed the energy portfolio and Focus 5 Brands, improving sales rates for key energy and 500ml packs across all routes to market.
- Deliver sales KPIs, including market share growth, scorecard improvement, new accounts, display, point‑of‑sale placement and availability.
- Activate brand plans in‑store, educate retailers on the category and ensure associated KPIs are achieved.
- Build relationships with retailers, participate in product launches and merchandising activities briefed by the Field Sales Manager.
- Demonstrate market share gains through scorecard improvement in defined territories.
- Present brands with a prepared presentation, secure purchase commitment, and support re‑merchandising where needed.
- Complete required administration including order sheets and call reports.
- Execute excellent point‑of‑purchase branding activities and match distribution to the brand portfolio regardless of route to market.
- Adopt a Safety First mindset, comply with H&S standards, and follow approved safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, self‑motivated and with minimal supervision.
- Team player with good personal leadership.
- Fluent in English.
