Working Pattern: Hybrid, permanent

Due to the nature of the role, there is a requirement to start your working day between 7.15am and 7.30am depending on the day.

What we’re looking for… As part of the wider Shared Service Centre team, the Commercial Operations Team is responsible for the day-to-day stewardship and administration of customer pricing and promotional investment processes. Ad hoc support is also provided to Commercial & Finance colleagues as required on any matters.

Your responsibilities will include...

  • Order to Cash process: The main responsibility of this role is to provide transactional support and stewardship associated with the company's customer pricing and promotional investment costs recorded in our systems.
  • Systems support includes:
    • JDE: Ensuring pricing accuracy, coordination of the annual customer price increases (CPI), preparation and validation of pricing files for submission to the IT Master Data team before upload into JDE, reviewing all pricing queries, investigating and resolving price queries arising from customer price credit claims.
    • Trinamix: Supporting Promotions management, resolving BDM issues related to data entry/process non-compliance, providing ad hoc training and support, as necessary, handling queries from all Commercial users, ensuring a timely and effective response is provided to all enquiries.
    • Google: spreadsheets, documents, presentations including the ability to create/administer charts and pivot tables.
    • Looker: reporting.
  • The Commercial Operations Assistants work closely with all levels across the Commercial & Finance & IT teams. They are trained to provide cover for the responsibilities of other team members during holidays and absences.

What you’ll bring...

  • Knowledge & experience of operating in an ERP environment is essential, as is an administrative background.
  • Excellent Google skills - spreadsheets, documents, presentations.
  • High degree of numeracy, accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organised, but able to work flexibly and reactively. Ability to manage their own time and be a self-starter.
  • Motivated by responsibility, an energetic self-starter who is results-oriented, tenacious and deadline driven. A high degree of self-belief and desire to progress.
  • The ability to build trust and demonstrate authenticity. Relationships need to be authentic and not just transactional.
