What we’re looking for… To lead teams of Business Development Representatives and Sales Ambassadors (BDRs/SAs) to deliver our key commercial strategic priorities. Field Sales Managers lead the people elements of their teams – Coaching & Development, Performance Management, Recruitment, Training support – and although supported with various central resources, the role will be measured on the effectiveness of its team management focusing mainly on driving KPI performance across the team via increased distribution and scorecard growth. Your responsibilities will include… As a Field Sales Team Manager your responsibilities will include; adopt a “Safety First” mindset and ensure that the job holder and the team comply with all required H&S standards associated with this role. For example following agreed Safe Systems of work, Pristine Principles, Site Risk Assessments etc Continual review of key KPI reports to understand and then address any key performance issues or opportunities within their team. Report and share back progress to the FSLT. Focus on team training and development. Build capability through training plans to ensure individuals are ready for their next move within their career plan. Training is carried out both formally and informally. Be the voice of your team internally. Work with your Engagement Survey to deliver improvements and progression within your team. Manage reward and recognition and provide ideas that maintain a motivated performance culture. Manage effectively within budget Ensuring we recruit the highest calibre individuals into the role with the potential for future development. What you’ll bring… The successful candidate will have; People management experience or considerable account FMCG sales experience with some coaching experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills – lead by example and have the skill set to manage positive and difficult conversations. Decisive – confident in making difficult decisions, balancing the analysis of data with personal judgement. Attention to detail – with a real focus on accuracy, will work hard to ensure a right-first-time approach and will have the ability to spot discrepancies and inaccuracies with ease.
