Position Overview
As a Third Party Planning Executive, you will be a pivotal link in our fast‑paced FMCG supply chain, driving the day‑to‑day balance between external production capacity and exceptional customer service. You will master a 13‑week production plan, optimise inventory strategy to eliminate waste, and confidently champion our brand when collaborating with third‑party manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage the 13‑week third‑party production plan based on resource capacity.
- Ensure JIT availability of materials to meet production requirements at third‑party manufacturers.
- Monitor finished‑goods inventory levels to align with warehouse capacity and minimise slow‑moving stock.
- Support NPD/EPD processes and production projects with third‑party manufacturers.
- Facilitate monthly planning clinics to identify and escalates long‑range capacity risks.
- Coordinate primary stock movements with logistics and customer‑service teams.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and deputise for the Planning Manager when required.
Qualifications
- Experience in supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of MRP/DRP/ERP systems and stock deployment techniques.
- Advanced IT skills, specifically Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, manage risks, and maintain production flows.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Willingness to travel to third‑party manufacturing locations and AG Barr sites.

- Prior experience working directly with third‑party manufacturers.
- Experience supporting the supply element within an S&OP cycle.
