We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
Apprentice Technician to join our skilled team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick‑start their career in the automotive industry.
You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands‑on experience and learning the skills necessary to become a fully qualified automotive technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Learn to carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre fitting.
- Develop skills in vehicle fault diagnosis using industry‑standard equipment and software.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Attend training sessions and complete all required qualifications as part of the apprenticeship programme.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, providing excellent service and support.
- Support the team with general workshop duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent qualifications).
- A keen interest in automotive technology and a desire to build a career in the industry.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from experienced colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
