We are a takeaway business specialising in Caribbean / American soul food cuisine, seeking a skilled and experienced chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking authentic Caribbean dishes and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where large quantities of food are prepared daily. These items include:
- Jerk Chicken
- Rice n Peas
- Jollof Rice
- Macaroni cheese
- Beef Ribs
- Lamb steak
- Wings
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Caribbean dishes, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Manage food preparation for high-volume service efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef, ideally in Caribbean cuisine or a similar environment.
- Familiarity with high-volume cooking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Available to work from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on assigned days.
