A graduate role for engineers who want a commercial career without leaving the technical detail behind. You'll be the link between our customers and our engineering team, turning enquiries into quotations for precision-machined PTFE, PEEK, PCTFE and other high-performance polymer components used in aerospace, defence, motorsport, oil and gas and industrial markets. This is a customer-facing role combining technical and commercial skills, not a pure desk-based sales job.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing incoming customer enquiries from initial receipt through to quotation.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, understanding customer specifications, and liaising with production and engineering teams on feasibility, materials and lead times.
- Working directly with customers on new project development, advising on material selection and design for manufacture.
- Reading drawings (tolerances, GD).
