Start your engineering career on the shop floor of a UK precision manufacturer working with PTFE, PEEK, PCTFE and other high-performance polymers for aerospace, defence, motorsport, oil and gas and industrial markets. This is a hands-on inspection role, not a desk-based quality systems job. You'll be measuring real parts, working from real drawings, and learning metrology from people who do it every day.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out dimensional inspection of CNC-machined components using micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges and surface finish testers.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
