AFT has ambitious medium- and long-term growth aspirations and is looking for an experienced, driven and aspirational Business Development Manager to help execute the business's corporate sales strategy. The correct candidate will report directly to the company’s Sales Director and will be an integral part of its senior sales team. AFT has presence throughout the UK and Europe, with a broad range of products. This Business Development Manager role has a particular focus on the supply of Adhesives into the UK Flooring Market – a key sector for our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing key customer accounts within the UK flooring market
  • Developing new customers in this sector
  • Launching a new flooring product range during 2026

Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience and proven track record of Sales and Business Development within the UK flooring Market
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Flooring Market, and experience around commercial arrangements in Distribution and Wholesale Models, from SME to PLC level
  • Can demonstrate tangible “success stories” throughout the whole sales process
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience of working with distribution partners and supporting end users on a technical level
