We are seeking an experienced Solicitor, Litigation Executive or Litigation Handler to manage a caseload of litigated personal injury claims from issue through to resolution. This is a hands-on role requiring strong litigation experience, procedural confidence and the ability to run files independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of litigated personal injury matters
- Drafting and issuing proceedings, including Particulars of Claim
- Drafting Defences and Replies
- Preparing and responding to applications
- Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and court directions
- Reviewing and analysing medical evidence, witness statements and expert reports
- Conducting liability and quantum assessments
- Negotiating settlements and advising clients throughout the litigation process
- Preparing cases for hearings and trial
- Instructing and liaising with Counsel and experts
- Maintaining accurate file management and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Litigation Executive, or experienced Litigation Handler
- Proven experience handling litigated personal injury claims
- Strong working knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures
- Experience drafting pleadings, applications and court documents
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience dealing with OIC/MOJ Portal exits
