The multi-award winning Afrotherapy Salon in Edmonton is recognised as one of London’s best specialist hairdressing salons, offering professional and expert afro, mixed race & multi textured hairdressing. We currently have great opportunities for Graduate Hair Stylists to join our team.

The salaries range from £17,500 – £35,000 (subject to experience) plus an uncapped commission!

Requirements
  • Every Stylist working for Afrotherapy requires a minimum 3 years of work experience in Afro/Mixed Race Hair.
  • You can specialise in working with either relaxed or naturally curly hair.
  • We welcome European Hairdressers, but again require minimum 3 years of work experience in Afro/Mixed Race Hair.
  • For the Salon Manager position, you require a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a hair salon.
Responsibilities
  • Building a regular clientele and impressing your clients.
  • Cutting women’s and children’s hair.
  • Applying colour with confidence.
  • Advising clients on aftercare and retail products.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends.
  • Hitting your targets by optimising turnover for treatments, retail sales, colour and rebooking %, and increasing your average service bill.
  • Learning new techniques and willing to attend training.
