Are you a Solution Architect ready to shape the future of large-scale digital platforms across multiple channels and markets? We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Solution Architect to join their Digital and Technology function. This role owns the solution design and architecture standards that power a complex digital ecosystem, ensuring all solutions are secure, scalable, reliable and future-fit. Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors, the Solution Architect translates strategic roadmaps into practical architectures that enable on-time, on-standard delivery.
Key duties:
- Own and define solution architecture standards, reference architectures and integration patterns
- Design end-to-end solutions across digital channels and core back-end platforms
- Lead architecture and design reviews, ensuring non-functional requirements are met
- Guide squads and vendors through clear standards, governance and design artefacts
- Evaluate technologies and vendors, supporting proofs of concept and cost-effective decisions
- Balance security, performance, scalability, reliability and cost in all architectural choices
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
- 7–10+ years’ experience in solution, enterprise or application architecture within digital or e-commerce environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, integration patterns and security principles
- Proven ability to lead on non-functional requirements such as performance, availability and observability
- Experience with data contracts, event-driven architectures and analytics or customer data platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
