What are we looking for?

  • Professional training or substantial experience in wellbeing, self-care, coaching, or holistic health (e.g. counselling, coaching, yoga, mindfulness, occupational therapy, peer support)
  • Understanding of burnout, compassion fatigue, and sustainable helping
  • Passionate about accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive wellbeing practices
  • Warm, non-judgmental, and encouraging
  • Comfortable delivering workshops or creating resources
  • Commitment to modeling self-care and boundaries

What will you be doing?

  • Advise on self-care strategies, wellbeing practices, and burnout prevention for volunteers and parents
  • Develop resources, toolkits, or guidance on self-care, boundaries, and sustainable helping
  • Deliver workshops, webinars, or drop-in sessions on topics such as stress management, mindfulness, rest, or compassionate self-talk
  • Support the design of wellbeing initiatives, peer support structures, or reflective practice spaces
  • Advise on organisational culture and practices that promote volunteer and staff wellbeing
  • Share evidence-based and holistic approaches to self-care
