A bit about Afrikana: Afrikana was born in a small village in the Midlands and now it's expanding to the rest of the UK and internationally! The vision is simple: bring authentic, home cooked African inspired dishes to the high street while giving guests an experience full of culture, art, music and great food!

What’s the role? The Back of House is you bring the flavour to life! Cook, prep, and plate dishes to perfection and leave guests thinking “Wow I’m definitely coming back!”

What will I do?

  • Prepare and cook all menu items to Afrikana’s high standards on every shift
  • Set up, maintain as well as close down clean and safe all operational work stations
  • Carry out food prep and cleaning tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly
  • Support both the back and front of the house team during busy periods to ensure all orders are delivered accurately and on timely manner
  • Follow all health & safety, food hygiene and restaurant security procedures
