African Energy is the leading organisation reporting, analysing and advising on the development of electric power generation and transmission projects in Africa. Over the past decade we have created a unique newsletter, database and conference business that we are now taking to the next level, by adding new categories of data and developing ground-breaking reports, outputs and analyses to add to our already substantial output.
We are looking for a dedicated CRM executive to join the African Energy team. The successful candidate will:
- support our active marketing and sales efforts by building new lists on our customer relationship management (CRM) platform Solve365, and enhancing existing lists.
- research, identify, and map target companies and relevant decision-makers and budget holders, both by pre-qualifying existing leads and by adding new ones;
- create effective CRM campaigns using these lists;
- coordinate with colleagues throughout the business to understand potential use-cases around which to construct new lists and campaigns.
The successful candidate must:
- have strong and proven working knowledge of CRM systems – including Solve365;
- be excited by the prospect of engaging with prospective clients;
- be capable of understanding our range of products and services and relating them to the complex business needs of participants in the African energy sectors;
- be able to exercise creativity and resourcefulness in establishing contact with prospects;
- be able to demonstrate initiative in improving methods and processes;
- have a keen eye for detail and exemplary written English.
Details and remuneration:
- The post is full-time.
- Salary: £30,000/year plus bonuses.
- 33 days/year annual leave.
- Working from home or based at our Hastings office, with regular meetings in London or Hastings.
- Promotion and salary increases are available in an ambitious company with international reach.
