An established safari operation in the Greater Addo, Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced and qualified Adventure / Field Guide to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding guests on safari and adventure activities, including canoe experiences, while ensuring professional service and guest safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Adventure Guide certification beneficial
- FGASA Level 2 Field Guide qualification essential
- PDP essential
- Valid First Aid qualification essential
- Experience conducting canoe activities
- Skipper's Licence advantageous
- Strong knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and the natural environment
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Professional, responsible, and safety conscious
- Passion for guiding and outdoor adventure
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct guided safari and adventure activities
- Lead canoe activities and ensure guest safety
- Provide engaging interpretation of wildlife and the environment
- Deliver professional and memorable guest experiences
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely and according to required procedures
- Maintain guiding and activity equipment
- Assist with general operational duties when required
- Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues
- Maintain professional guiding standards at all times
PACKAGE:
- Salary Negotiable (DOE)
