Able to credibly lead commercial discussions and build relationships with customers and suppliers.
Represent the business to banks and external funders, accountants and professional advisers Ideally with experience from the retail / distribution / manufacturing KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing the finance function, including timely production of financial and management information, monthly management accounts and the annual audit.
Develop budgets and robust forecasts in line with strategic plan Monitor cashflow and report on business performance Provide financial analysis to support projects and new business initiatives Drive efficiency across the business, work with key stakeholders to improve KPIs and enhance decision making Review and develop financial control framework to support further business growth Manage the companies FX exposure with oversight of all import / export documentation Responsible for compliance, VAT, PAYE, HMRC tax, insurance, company secretarial matters This fantastic opportunity has real progression potential and can offer superb experience to an ambitious accountant looking for a Finance Director position in the future.
