This diverse group of companies is seeking to appoint an experienced finance leader to form part of the senior management team and help drive further growth. The business is founder led and very entrepreneurial and supplies products and equipment to large industrial customers across the North West. This will be the number one finance position within the organisation, reporting directly into the CEO / business owner and working closely with senior management.

A key aspect of the position will involve improving the existing controls and processes to ensure the finance function operates effectively, delivers meaningful MI and supports decision making. You will also support the owner as a key sounding board for acquisitions and other commercial opportunities. The business is split into several key divisions with lots of inter-company activity so the ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, with a keen eye for detail to ensure safe financial control of the group.

Supervising a small team of three accounts staff, the Head of Finance will be responsible for all financial reporting and analysis, interpreting data to understand operational implications and provide confidence in the numbers.
