This hugely successful company has an established presence in both the UK and overseas. As one of the market leaders in their field they manufacture and distribute specialist products via a number of channels and have grown substantially both organically and through acquisition. The company continues to invest in its infrastructure and as a result of this a new position for a Finance Business Partner has been created to be the face of finance to the business. This role will therefore offer exposure to all department heads and key stakeholders, supporting them with analysis and interpretation of financial data that will drive group strategic objectives. The main responsibilities for this position will include

Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts
Analysis of month end reporting variances
Assisting with consolidation of group accounts
Financial analysis of sales, stock, manufacturing etc.
Analysis of KPIs and investigating drivers of profitability
Supporting other business functions with ad hoc projects
Promoting continuous improvement in efficiency and compliance
Preparing investment analysis and business case appraisal.
Developing BI tools and reporting for stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive, pro-active approach and a proven ability to analyse and present complex data. Advanced Excel skills and experience of the use of business analytical tools will therefore be highly advantageous. You must also have a strong commercial acumen, able to interpret information and communicate this in a meaningful way to stakeholders in finance and other departments. Suitable applicants must be CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified ideally with experience of a similar finance role in an FMCG environment.
