Our Bury based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. This excellent role is three days in the office and two days working from home.

Duties include:

  • Sole responsibility for the purchase ledger including processing invoices and statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with and resolving supplier queries
  • Managing the purchase ledger mailbox
  • Setting up new suppliers and customer accounts
  • Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Any other transactional accounting duties

You must have strong purchase ledger experience to be considered for this role. You must be a good communicator and be confident in your accounting experience.

In return you will receive 25 days holiday (an option to buy 5 more) plus bank holidays, 2 days working from home, company pension, Medicash and free onsite parking.
