Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy accounts team. This financial services company is looking for someone with solid accountancy experience who loves a challenge, enjoys implementing change and thrives on being busy.
Duties include:
- Sole responsibility and main point of contact for the purchase ledger
- Gaining the correct authorisation for invoices to ensure agreed payment terms are adhered to
- Prepare and process payment terms
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve any invoice or payment queries
- Review and process employee and directors expenses
- Process and reconcile company credit card transactions
- Create and post sales invoices for internal and external business services
- Provide support at month end to the wider finance team
To be considered for this role, you need to have previous accounting experience ideally from within a varied role with a strong purchase ledger bias. You must have strong attention to detail and have a high level of accuracy. Someone who is IT savvy and is a strong Excel user would also suit.
In return you will receive a competitive salary with 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (36 days holiday) and be offered hybrid working.
