The South Street Headhouse Business District is seeking a freelance grant writer to help identify and write grants from government and non-government sources to support the District in maintaining public assets (trees, trash cans), programming (festivals and night markets), economic development (pop-up shops), and beautification (murals, lighting).

Grant Writer duties and responsibilities:

  • Research grant opportunities
  • Draft grant proposals and required supporting documents
  • Submit proposals for review and approval
  • Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals
  • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders
  • Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities

The hourly rate is $50.00. There is also opportunity for part or full time work.
