The Role:

Reporting into the Global Senior Merchandiser, you will support the trading of UK and EMEA Direct trading, predominantly in the Store & Outlet Channels, as well as provide aid to the E-commerce & all B2B channels when required on a planned & Ad Hoc Basis. Working closely with our store teams, you will manage stock replenishment and ensure store stock levels are maintained in line with Department targets, to ensure that stores have the right products at the right time, place and quantity, in order to meet and exceed sales targets. With a flair for attention to detail, you will be responsible for ensuring sales analysis, sales reporting & business stock availability reporting is carried out in an accurate & timely manner.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and maintain weekly trading and performance reports at department, category, and product line level, delivering clear analysis across all product areas and presenting insights to senior management during trade meetings.
  • Manage day-to-day replenishment of UK retail stores and outlets using in-house systems, ensuring strong stock availability and maximising sales opportunities.
  • Ensure pricing, markdowns, and promotional activity are accurately executed within systems, while managing stock flow and promotional mechanics for the retail channels in partnership with the Senior Merchandiser.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure all in-store POS is implemented correctly and aligned with brand standards.
  • Oversee in-season trading performance, including weekly sales reporting, campaign analysis, and stock management. Analyse historical sales trends and communicate key insights and actions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all reporting, KPIs, and trading activities are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Support promotional planning, new product launches (NPD), and supply operations across Direct and Indirect channels globally. Work closely with Forecasting and Supply Chain teams to identify potential out-of-stock risks and implement mitigation plans to protect sales.

What you will need:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification: Analytical, Mathematical, Sciences, Business & Fashion Industry focused preferred
  • 1+ years experience operating at Assistant Merchandiser
  • Previous Experience working as an Allocator/MAA/Merchandising Assistant level
  • Commercial/Business strategy awareness
  • Comfortable with formulating overall Trade Reporting & Analysis - presenting it to stakeholders & performing Ad Hoc Analysis
  • Work experience and interest in retail, health & beauty
  • Highly numerate, ability to identify trends
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Working understanding of Microsoft office applications, with strength on excel and powerpoint
