Role Context
We are looking for a talented, tech enthusiast to join one of our software engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be eager about quality, automation, and leveraging GenAI to reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional, workflow, and end-to-end testing of customer facing solutions, including creation of automated tests where it makes sense.
- Provide best practice, shift-left coaching to developers to promote defensive coding habits.
- Facilitate example mapping sessions to help build a complete picture of user story requirements.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
Skills and experience

Essential
- 5+ years of IT experience in any client-server design/development.
- Experience with targeted test automation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, maximising the different strengths across the team.
Key technology experience required for the role:
- Any test automation tools, preferably Robot Framework with Playwright (Browser Library).
Desirable
- Experience with different types of Agile project delivery.
- Experience testing non-functional requirements, specifically security, accessibility, and compatibility.
- Other valuable technologies: Java, REST-based API, object-oriented concepts, and GIT.
