We are seeking an experienced Salesforce. com Application Manager to lead enterprise CRM capabilities across Sales Cloud (leads – Opportunities - Quotes), Experience Cloud Service Cloud, and Field Service reporting directly to the Director, Enterprise Business Applications.
This role serves as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and IT, leading the design, planning, deliveryand optimization of Salesforce. com solutions.
The position includes direct leadership of the application team including Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, Solutions Architectsand Developers.
Responsibilities
- Salesforce. com Strategy
- Salesforce Strategy & Leadership: Define CRM strategy, roadmap, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Demand & Workstream Leadership: Manage intake, backlog, prioritization, and delivery of enhancements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as liaisonbetween business and IT; lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering and solution design.
- Project / Enhancement Management and Execution
- Lead implementation activities through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Support project planning, scope definition, timelines, resource coordination, and delivery management.
- Collaborate with on/offshore/third party vendors and cross-functional teams to support continuous delivery and operational excellence.
- Identifyproject risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Testing & QA: Ensure quality through testing, UAT, and release.
- Change Management: Drive user adoption through training, communication, and support.
- Leadership& Communication
- Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT, acting as the trusted advisor for all Salesforce. com capabilities, strategy, and delivery.
- Establish and maintainstrong relationships with business leadership and key.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization, facilitatingalignment on business needs, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Actively manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication of scope, timelines, risks, and trade-offs, ensuring alignment between business goals and system capabilities.
- Lead prioritization and backlog management in partnership with business stakeholders, aligning demand with strategic objectivesand team capacity.
- Serve as the voice of the business within IT, ensuring solutions are aligned to real businessneeds, standardized processes, and best practices.
- Facilitate decision-making by presenting options, recommendations, and impactsto stakeholders, enabling informed business and technology decisions.
- Products, Pricing and Sales Operations Processes
- Partner with Sales and Sales Operations teams to define and standardize end-to-end sales processes (lead-to-opportunity, opportunity-to-quote, quote-to-order) within Salesforce.
- Understand and govern product data models including quotable product creation, product hierarchies, pricing structures, sales agreement pricing, and discounting procedures.
- Lead the design and on-going support / optimization of Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ)and Revenue Cloud capabilities, including product configuration, pricing rules, discounting logic, and quote generation processes.
- Establish and maintainpricing frameworks, including price books, contract pricing, and customer‑specific pricing agreements, ensuring scalability and consistency across regions and business units.
- Drive system controls around pricing approvals, discount thresholds, and quote validation.
- Identify and resolve process gaps and inefficiencies in quoting, pricing, and opportunity management (e. g., manual workarounds, inconsistent pricing application, approval bottlenecks).
- Lead continuous improvement of opportunity and pipeline management processes, including funnel hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and alignment to IBP/S&OP inputs.
- Team Leadership
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor team; establishstandards and best practices.
- Assign/reassign resources to work on enhancements/projects based on priorities and team capacity.
- Communicate team issues (HR or project delivery) and work with the Director of Enterprise Business Applications to resolve issues.
- Conduct annual review cycle of workstream members.
- Co-Ordinate and track vacation schedules and manage IT support coverage as required.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of Salesforce or CRM application experience
- 2 – 5 years of Sales Operations Experience
- 5+ years of leadershipand team managementexperience
- Experienceimplementing andmaintainingthe following; Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service (Revenue Cloud Implementation experience is a major plus)
- Strong knowledge of integrations and data architecture
- Experience in enterprise/global environments
- Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills
