Looking for a hands-on career with serious earning potential? Join AFI-Rentals as a Powered Access Trainee and start your journey into the world of truck-mounted platforms and specialist access machinery. You’ll receive full training to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on MEWPs, trucks, and tracked machines, while learning to operate our impressive range of truck mounts. Alongside this, we’ll support you through your HGV Class 2 training and help you progress into a full Driving & Operating role at one of our branches.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on MEWPs, trucks, and tracked access machines.
  • Operating truck-mounted platforms at customer sites (full IPAF training provided).
  • Supporting the engineering and operations teams across the branch.
  • Learning all aspects of powered access operation and transport.
  • Working toward your HGV Class 2 licence and future operator position.
