The successful candidate will be trained to carry out pre-delivery inspections on our machinery, operate truck-mounted platforms and complete site surveys to be able to specify the correct equipment for certain applications. You will be employed in these roles while undergoing HGV driver training and then until such time that a suitable driving vacancy becomes available. This will help provide invaluable experience on our fleet of equipment for when later transferring into a driving role as positions become available.
We would welcome applications from candidates with experience or an interest in developing skills in the following areas: Trainee HGV Driver, driving, C+E, Class 1, customer service, IPAF, loading, unloading, machine inspection, driver, plant machinery, mechanical.

The pay structure starts at an entry level of £29,741 (£32,081 if London based) plus overtime and incentives and will increase as you gain more qualifications. Permanent driver roles are significantly higher than this. Further details of the pay structure will be given at interview.

- Must possess a valid driving licence and have their own transport as the role will involve working from different locations (use of your car to get to locations other than your home depot will be fully expensed).
