AFI is currently looking to recruit a Class 1 Driver to work night shifts from our Wakefield depot (Mon – Fri, start time around 4.30pm), collecting and delivering machinery around our depot network, along with customer sites.
We would welcome applications for this Class 1 Night Driver role from candidates who are willing to learn new skills, work hard, are committed to giving first-class customer service, and possess any of the following skills or attributes: Class 1, CPC, Multi-drop, CSCS, IPAF, and Driver.
Salary: £45,552.00 basic, plus OT, bonus, contributory pension and various other benefits.

- You must hold a Class 1 licence as a minimum.
- You will have experience of multi-drop delivery / collections.
- Experience of loading / unloading plant would be favourable, but again is not essential.
- You must hold your driver CPC.
- A CSCS card would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- IPAF operator licence would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given for the right candidate.
- You will also receive an excellent training induction programme, including approved IPAF Load and unload training.
- You must be outgoing and enthusiastic.
- Time keeping and using your own initiative will be important aspects of the role, so you should be proficient at these skills.
