An opportunity to join Adviser Legal, dealing specifically with private client matters. We are looking for those of you who wish to join a new, fast expanding law firm offering Private Client services. The work will include obtaining Grants of Probate and dealing with estate administration, will drafting and drafting of Lasting Powers of Attorney applications with a particular focus on probate work.
As our NQ Private Client Solicitor, you will typically:
- Onboard new clients ensuring compliance with legislation
- Enter and maintain client data onto the case management system
- Prepare legal statements
- Prepare inheritance tax returns
- Liaise with our clients and ensure clients are kept up to date on case progress
- Work with effective time management to ensure that all deadlines are achieved and client needs met
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of all files
- Liaise with HMRC and the Probate Registry
- Maintain knowledge of private client law

- Experience of working in wills and probate (preferred)
- Understanding of the probate process (preferred)
- Ability to work independently
