It is a news and factual channel with news bulletins, talk shows, documentaries, features and magazine content across broadcast, digital and social media.

Iran International English Service aims to provide comprehensive and up-to-date news coverage and reliable information about Iran and the broader Middle East region to a global audience. The service is designed to offer news and analysis on a wide range of topics, including politics, current affairs, economy and culture.

The Multimedia Journalist is a key member of the service, responsible for producing and delivering news content in text, video, and audio formats. They are expected to work quickly under pressure, break news, and write stories fast and accurately. They also manage the organisation's social media presence, engagement, and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Editors and collaborate with other reporters and team members to ensure the smooth flow of news production.
  • Research assigned topics or news events, gather information from various sources, verify facts, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Pitch their own story ideas and file reports, analyses, and explainers.
  • Conduct interviews with relevant individuals, experts, and eyewitnesses to gather insights and quotes for news stories.
  • Deliver news content in text, video, and audio formats.
  • Effectively utilise social media platforms to promote news content and engage with the audience.
  • Assist in the production and delivery of podcast programmes and news bulletins.
