As a Graduate Engineer, you will join our structured Graduate Programme, designed to accelerate your professional development and provide exposure to some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, including HS2 Track, Midland Metro Alliance, and Old Oak Common Station. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands‑on experience in design, construction, and delivery phases. Rotations will allow you to explore different disciplines and understand the full lifecycle of major rail projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and delivery of electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering solutions for rail and infrastructure projects
- Support project teams with technical analysis, drawings, and specifications
- Contribute to safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project stages
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including commercial, planning, and systems engineering
- Engage in problem‑solving and innovation to meet project challenges and sustainability goals
- Expected to graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Strong interest in rail and infrastructure projects and commitment to achieving professional chartership (e.g., IET, ICE)
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced consultancy environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and timelines
